Nelson Enrique Ortega De La Cruz is a Senior Attorney in the Litigation Department of the firm. With a solid professional background, he has extensive experience in civil and commercial litigation, advising and representing clients in complex legal proceedings before judicial tribunals.
In addition to his legal practice, Mr. Ortega De La Cruz serves as a professor in the Private Law Department at the University of Panama’s School of Law and Political Science, demonstrating his commitment to legal education and ongoing academic engagement.
He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Law and Political Science from the University of Panama in 2009. In 2013, he completed a Master’s Degree in Private Law with a focus on Commercial Law, and is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Private Law with a focus on Civil Law at the same institution (since 2020).
His academic and practical perspective enables him to provide strategic legal counsel with a comprehensive understanding of both substantive and procedural law.
