José Hidalgo Fung Delgado is an attorney and legal consultant with over 20 years of experience in Commercial Law, Civil Law, and the Law of Obligations, as well as in the design and implementation of risk management systems. He is the Founding Partner of National Risk Management, S.A. and FUNG ABOGADOS S.C., a law firm specializing in corporate legal advisory services, regulatory compliance, and civil and commercial litigation.

He holds a Law Degree from the School of Law and Political Science of the University of Panama, where his thesis, “Towards a New Legislation on Negotiable Instruments,” was awarded the Dr. César Quintero Prize.

He also holds a Master’s Degree in Compliance from IMF Business School, with a dual degree awarded by Universidad Camilo José Cela (Spain), and a Master’s Degree in Civil Liability from the European Institute of Business Studies (INESEM). He is currently pursuing a Master’s in Business Law.
